Day 1 Sunday - Israel here we come!

Depart on your flight to Israel and begin an unforgettable journey.

Day 2 Monday - Welcome to Israel


Welcome to Israel! Arrive at Ben Gurion where you will be met and assisted for your transfer to the Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel’s most cosmopolitan city.

Take some time to refresh after the flight or walk along the promenade, enjoying the Mediterranean Sea breeze and feeling the city’s vibe.

Evening: Meet your guide and enjoy the welcome delicious dinner at the Hotel.

Overnight: Herods Hotel, Tel Aviv.

Day 3 Tuesday - Tel Aviv Area


After a delicious Israeli buffet breakfast at the hotel, drive to Old Jaffa, one of the oldest cities in the world. Hear the story of Jonah and the whale and see the entrance to the House of Simon the Tanner. Then explore the reconstructed Artists/ Quarter with its galleries and boutiques. Drive to Neot- Kedumim, an eco-tourism site and “living museum” that recreates the physical setting of the Bible, in all its depth and detail. Return to Tel Aviv to the colorful and lively Carmel Market (Shuk HaCarmel) the largest market in Tel Aviv. It’s a vibrant marketplace where traders sell everything from clothing to spices, and fruit to household items. We’ll head to nearby Tel-Aviv’s popular Nachalat Benyamin, an open pedestrian Arts and Craft Fair where you will find a variety of hand-made products as well as performance artists making this a lively event and definitely in Tel Aviv. The balance of the day at leisure. Tonight you are fee to explore the city and have dinner on your own possibly at the Tel Aviv Old Port area which is walking distance from the hotel.

Day 4 Wednesday – Caesarea, Haifa to Galilee



Drive to Caesarea, the “Dream by the Sea” constructed by Herod the Great between 22 and 10 BC and named after Caesar Augustus. Enjoy a tour of the rich remains spanning from the time of the Romans to the Islamic period: the 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheater, the Crusader harbor, and Herod’s palace– all will be brought to life in a brand new multi-media show dedicated to the events and personalities who shaped this seaside wonder. Then, head to Haifa; see the meticulous Baha’i Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, often described as the “eighth wonder of the world.” Drive to Acre and the Old City of Acre a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of the remains of the Crusader town. These ruins are both above and below street level. It’s also because the city is one of a very small number of Ottoman walled towns. It has citadels, mosques, khans, and baths, all of which have been preserved. In Akko. Drive to our hotel on the shores of the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Thursday - Galilee - Golan



After breakfast we start the day with a visit to the ancient boat museum of a boat from the time of Jesus found in the Sea of Galilee by fishermen from Kibbutz Nof Ginossar.  We continue for a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Drive to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and the site of many of his miracles. We will see the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshipped. Continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered what is perhaps the most famous sermon ever preached – “The Sermon On the Mount”. We will drive north to Tel Dan one of the most important sites for the archaeological and historical recovery of ancient Israel a town that has seen many different occupants in the course of 6000 years.  We drive to the Golan Heights and visit Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Finish the day with kayaking in the Jordan River and dare the 300-feet long zip-line journey, ending with a splash in the Jordan River. Back to our hotel for Dinner.

Day 6 Friday – En Route to Jerusalem



Following breakfast and check-out of the hotel, we start the day driving to Nazareth where Jesus spent his childhood and visit the Church of the Annunciation. Continue to Kfar Kedem that recreates the day-to-day life of this ancient land. A hands-on experience, Kfar Kedem will transport you back to the roots of your heritage. Ride the rolling hills as Abraham rode them. You will be shown how to make bread, cheese, wine, and olive oil using ancient techniques while providing historical and spiritual insight through this hands-on experien ce in the world of the Bible. You will be given robes and head coverings made in the style of ancient Israel in order to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Drive through the Jordan Valley, the homeland of the Prophet Elisha to Beit Shean, where we will walk through the incredible excavations of the largest ongoing archaeological dig in the land of Israel with its Roman theatre, colonnaded Roman streets, mosaics and Roman bathhouses. It is also the city where the body of King Saul and his sons where nailed to the walls by the Philistines. We then drive through the lush Jordan Valley ascending to Jerusalem. Special Friday night Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 Saturday – Old City of Jerusalem, Bethlehem


After breakfast we start the day at the Mount of Olives, for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. From here, we proceed by bus across the Kidron Valley, past the Tombs of Absalom, Zechariah and James and proceed to Mt Zion to visit the traditional site of the Upper Room (Room of the Last Supper) and the Tomb of David. We continue our walk along the Via Dolorosa. We pass through the colorful bazaars, alleyways and market places and reach the Church of the Holy Sepulcher for a brief visit.

Drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity, the oldest church in the world and birthplace of Jesus. In the evening you can stroll along the outdoor Mammilla outdoor mall where you can shop and have dinner.

Day 8 Sunday - Jerusalem



Following breakfast, we drive to the City of David to see remains of Jerusalem from the time of King David. See the Hezekiah’s Tunnel and walk through the water tunnel built by King Hezekiah in the 7th century BC. which comes out to the Pool of Siloam.  Continue to the Davidson Center to start at the facility using the state of art technology and film showing what the Temple Mount was like from the time of the Second Temple. You will continue to the Southern Wall Excavations and see the walls from the time of King Herod and walk on the same steps Jesus walked on going up to the Temple. Visit the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest spot. Visit the Western Wall Tunnels and vis it the excavations along the Western Wall that is not exposed from the outside plaza.

Finish the day at the Machane Yehuda Market and immerse yourself in the bustling energy of Jerusalem’s Shuk (Market). Wander around the many local vendors selling delicious cheeses, pastries, spices, nuts and much more. Taste Halva, ice cream and fresh fruit juices.   Return to your hotel. In the evening after dinner enjoy the “Night Spectacular” Sound & Light Show at the Citadel Museum.

Day 9 Monday - Masada - Dead Sea



The big day is here and we’ve made sure that it’s everything you hoped for and more. Following breakfast at the hotel, descend through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Planet Earth, continuing straight to Masada. Ascend the mountain by Cable Car to this last stronghold of the Zealots who chose death rather than surrendering to the Roman Legion in the Jewish Revolt against Rome some 2000 years ago. Masada is not declared a UNESCO “World Heritage Site”. After, tour Herod’s Palace, the synagogue, the bathhouse, the water system and the fascinating storage rooms. De scend Masada and drive to one of the hotels at the Dead Sea for lunch and swim; float effortlessly in the therapeutic mineral-rich waters before proceeding to Ein Gedi for a hike through this beautiful oasis to the spectacular waterfalls—a perfect family day to remember.

On the way back to Jerusalem we will stop at Genesis Land A magical place, it enables visitors to experience life as it was in biblical times. You will be greeted by Eliezer, Abraham’s manservant, and by a train of camels which lead you down to Abraham’s tent, where you will experience his legendary hospitality and dinner feast.

Day 10 Tuesday - Jerusalem New City


Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then, take a short drive to to the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest manuscripts of the Bible ever found. Visit the Model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple Period. Continue to Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum & Memorial- strategically situated on the green slopes of Har HaZikaron (“Mount of Remembrance”). The museum tells the story of the Holocaust from a unique perspective by emphasizing the experiences of Jewish victims and survivors using original artifacts, testimonies, and personal possessions. Tour this sprawling complex and visit the Grove of the Righteous among the Nations, the Children’s Memorial and take part in a special “Yizkor” (memorial service) in Bikat Ha Kehilot (The Valley of Communities). A special program will be provided for children (accompanied by one parent).

The rest of the day is free for shopping and relax at the rooftop pool at the hotel. In the evening you might want to explore the “Tachana” where you can witness street entertainment and have dinner in one of the many restaurants.

Day 11 Wednesday - Tel Aviv - Archaeological Dig



Following breakfast and hotel checkout, head to Tel Maresha in the area of Beit Guvrin, the ancestral home of King Herod, and participate in an archaeological dig. This hands-on experience includes digging, sifting, pottery examination, and a tour in Beit Guvrin National Park with an exciting crawl through unexcavated cave systems. Continue to Yad LaShiryon at Latrun, Israel’s official memorial site for fallen soldiers from the armored corps with an open-air museum, featuring more than 200 tanks and military vehicles dating back to WWI. Explore the museum and learn of its location, which was a major battleground during the War of Independence. Back to the hotel to refresh before farewell dinner.

Day 12 Thursday - Return to North America or Extend your trip

Unfortunately, our journey has come to an end.
Check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your international departure flight. It’s a long flight, but home is on the other end

Terms and Important Information

Air transportation is available from anywhere in the USA and Canada. Airport transfers are included on the scheduled tour dates. Passengers arriving earlier and departing later will receive transfers if pre and post hotels are booked by Peerless Travel Inc. No refunds are made for missed sightseeing tours, missed transfers, or unused hotel accommodations on our summer tours.


Credit cards are accepted for all deposits, payments for the tour, insurance, and air transportation. Partial payments can be made in Israel Bonds.


A deposit of $450 US per person is required to secure space on the tour and is not required for the Bar Mitzvah & Bat Mitzvah Celebrant (Deposit becomes non-refundable 90 days prior to departure).


Insurance will be issued 90 days prior to departure to protect your deposits and subsequent payments.


Must be valid six months from the date of return. If you are not a US or Canadian passport holder please check visa requirements.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit is 100% refundable up to 90 days prior to departure. Land services are subject to a 50% cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to departure and 75% 14 days or less, prior to departure.

In order to maintain this reputation, we wish to advise you that minor changes may be made in the itinerary or the accommodations. These changes may occur prior to departure and even during the Tour itself. The changes are usually a result of insufficient space, changes in site schedules, safety and ease of transportation, or the inability of the supplier to provide services to meet our standards. We will make every effort to ensure that any changes made to the Tour comply with our high standards.
